Mining giant NMDC today said its net profit for the December quarter grew 47.17 per cent at Rs 1,424.95 crore as against Rs 968.22 crore in the same period a year ago.
According to the release, the company's total income rose to Rs 2,566.68 crore for the reporting quarter from Rs 1,798.12 crore. While, for the nine-month period ended December 31, NMDC registered a net profit of Rs 3,351.19 crore, a 50 per cent growth over the corresponding period last year. It had a net profit of Rs 2,234.01 crore in the same period last year.
