*Essar Oil* loss for the quarter ended December 2008 has widened. During the quarter, the loss of the company rose to Rs 12,300 million compared with a loss of Rs 134 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 57.27 times to Rs 84,200 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 56.36 times to Rs 84,270 million, when compared with the prior year period.
