*Thiruvananthapuram: *The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has allowed
increased talk time for calls to places over 50 km away from 60 to 120
seconds.

According to Amit Mishra, General Manager (Marketing), Kerala Telecom, the
100 per cent extra talk time would be available for calls made on other
landline networks also.

Mishra said here on Saturday that the validity of the Ayush 99 plan was
being revised from 180 days to 365 days.

Similarly, the validity of the Anant and Saral Anant schemes was also being
revised upwards to 365 days. The calling charges in all these plans were the
same.

Three new special tariff vouchers for mobile subscribers were also launched
on Saturday. Charging of the mobile handset using these vouchers will bring
down cost of local calls within BSNL to BSNL mobile network to 29 paise a
minute, to other mobile networks 59 paise a minute and STD to Re1 a minute.
