* BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP: Has started making payments for crude oil imported
from Iran in rupees, and has cleared entire dues of 27 bln rupees to Iran.

* CARBORUNDUM UNIVERSAL: Arm CUMI International has inked a binding
agreement with Austria 's RHI AG to acquire the latter's South African arm.

* COAL INDIA: Hike in dearness allowance is likely to increase the
company's wage bill by 17.5 bln rupees in the current financial year. The
government has allotted 116 mines to the company to help it boost
production capacity.

* DLF: Bharat Light and Power, and Hyderabad-based Mytrah Energy in race to
buy the company's wind power business for around 10 bln rupees. May sell
stake in its Nagpur Information Technology Special Economic Zone post
September.

* GAGAN POLYCOT INDIA : Plans to issue 5.5 mln convertible warrants on
preferential basis.

* GVK POWER & INFRASTRUCTURE: Likely to sell minority stake in GVK Coal
Developers ( Singapore ) this year to raise funds to develop coal assets in
Australia . In talks with government of Singapore Investment Corp to raise
$500 mln-$600 mln through stake sale in its Singapore arm.

* HCL INFOSYSTEMS: Has launched a new laptop under its Smart series brand
and two personal computer models under its Beanstalk brand.

* HINDUSTAN ZINC: The government has convened a meeting of the Empowered
Group of Ministers to consider selling residual stake in the company and
Bharat Aluminium Co.

* ITC: Is testing two products in the 64-mm small-filter cigarette segment.
To launch the products under the Gold Flake and Capstan brands and price
them at 2.5 rupees a stick and 2.0 rupees a stick, respectively.

* JAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS: Fitch Ratings has downgraded its national long
term rating to 'Fitch BBB( ind )' from 'Fitch A( ind )', with a negative
outlook.

* JINDAL STEEL & POWER: To opt out of race to acquire Australian coal
explorer Rocklands Richfield.

* MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA: Mahindra South Africa is locked in a dispute with
local company Twin
Dragons Automotive over distribution of SsangYong's vehicles.

* MARUTI SUZUKI: The Haryana labour department has initiated proceedings
against the company's executives for allegedly violating the agreement
signed with its workers at Manesar plant under provisions of labour laws.

* MOTILAL OSWAL FINANCIAL SERVICES: Has raised 4.75 bln rupees for its
second private equity fund.

* NATIONAL BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTION CORP: Does not plan to foray into project
development in the coal and power sectors.

* NETWORTH STOCK BROKING: Securities Appellate Tribunal has overturned a
SEBI order suspending the certificate of registration of the brokerage for
one month.

* OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORP: Has signed an agreement with China National
Petroleum Corp to jointly work on exploration, production, refining and
pipelines. Overseas arm ONGC Videsh is considering to sell 50% stake in its
Cuban offshore block to Italy 's Eni and France 's Total.

* SESA GOA: Will detail the outcome of the extraordinary general meeting on
the proposed merger of Vedanta Resources group companies with itself on Jun
25.
