* ADANI POWER: May bid for coal-based ultra mega power projects* AXIS BANK:
Has launched a mobile-based card acceptance service, Swipeon, which can use
cellular phones as a card reading device.

* BAJAJ AUTO: Is working on a global alliance with Austria 's KTM and
Kawasaki heavy Industries, Japan , for selling motorcycles in the overseas
markets and to achieve 50% of its sales through exports by 2016.

* BAJAJ HOLDINGS & INVESTMENT: The company's Apr-Jun net profit fell 11% on
year to 522.6 mln rupees.

* CORPORATION BANK: Has said it will need up to 16 bln rupees of additional
capital in 2013-14 (Apr-Mar).

* CUPID: The company has got the approval of the World Health Organisation
and the United Nations Population Fund for its female condoms.

* DUNLOP INDIA: Has proposed to open its Sahagunj unit in phases.

refinery in Rajasthan along with HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORP.

* INFOTECH ENTERPRISE: The company is planning to open offices in South
Korea and China in Jul-Sep.

* JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES: CRH Plc, an Irish building material group, is
interested in acquiring the company's cement plants in Gujarat and Andhra
Pradesh, after the Indian company's talks with AV Birla group failed.

* KINGFISHER AIRLINES: The Central Board of Excise and Customs is mulling
action, including legal recourse, against the company to recover service
tax dues.

* LARSEN & TOUBRO: Electrical and automation business of the company is
expected to grow 15% this year contributing nearly 46 bln rupees in
revenues.

* MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM: Employee unions plans to go on an indefinite
protest from Jul 24, demanding the government bear the full cost of pension.

divesting 10.82% stake in the company for discussion today.

* SHRIRAM TRANSPORT FINANCE CO: Has reserved 80% of its 3-bln-rupee
non-convertible debenture issue for individual investors.
* TATA COMMUNICATIONS: The Union Cabinet may today consider a proposal for
hiving off of surplus land assets belonging to the company.
