I agree.  Also, is the code that is running this updater checked in
somewhere?  I'm curious as to whether this is just a plain cron-job with no
additional criteria, or if it does some testing before deciding to update to
the ptolemy head.

I think Sean originally put this together, but I'm not sure if he is still
maintaining it.
