Recently two bugs were reported against the Debian package for luafilesystem. You can see them and reply to them with the address bugnum...@bugs.debian.org

The other one is more a whishlist, but looks reasonable to me so I thought it was worth mentioning it. It essentially asks to espose more fields of the stat structure under Unix, most notably file permissions.
