Hi Tristan,
It's great you found the reasons. It's weird that you were able to
run workflows without java being in the path. One more tip, besides
information shown on console using command line, Tools->'Check System
Settings' also show some system information.
Best wishes

That's for the tip on starting from command line. I'm using Windows 7
and the root of the problem was that java was not in the system path.
The second problem was that R wasn't in the system path either, but
there was an error message for that.
Oddly enough I've never had an issue running other workflows without
java being in the path.
Thanks for the help.
Tristan

involving RExpression actor
Hi Tristan,
Both workflows finish in a few seconds and display with correct
images in my tests. My tests are at Mac version 10.6.8, Java 1.6, R
2.11.1. Can you tell us your environment configuration? Also try
starting Kepler from console (kepler.sh or kepler.bat) and see whether
there are informative messages on your console. Thanks.
Best wishes

I'm having the same issue with both the example in Components > R > R

When running under Kepler 2.4 both never stop executing and just
continue to consume CPU time. I have checked everything I can think
of, and there are no error messages. The
RExpression_Dataframe_Test.xml example ran for >40 minutes and I am
sure that can't be right.
Thanks,
Tristan
