Thanks for replying. As a local user, using "ldaplist -l passwd test" i get: ldaplist: Object not found (Session error no available conn. )
as root, it returns the user information. using getent passwd test, it hangs and requires ^C to break I will get krb-diag, is there anything you would like me to do with it? Also another thing i have noticed is that if i alter the resolv.conf file (editing out the dns servers and then putting them back) authentication works again. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
