Doesn't ring any bells with me.  kinit seg-faults reading the  
krb5.conf file after it gets the PA-required reply.

bzipped truss output sent to Mark off-list, also for the case where I  
just get the RPCBIND error.  Anyone else can have 'em that wants to  
help me out.  ;-)
