I've followed the instructions for configuring a Windows 2000 client to authenticate against my UNIX Kerberos server and it works, as long as the password set on the local Windows 2000 account is the same as the Kerberos password. If they are different, entering either one fails. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to remove/inactivate/something the Windows 2000 password so that only the Kerberos password is used?
