The README file does contain useful information regarding the
intellectual property status of the MIT Kerberos implementation.  Of
course, if you're independently implementing from the protocol spec,
note that "Kerberos" is a trademark of MIT, so you probably can't use
"Kerberos" in your product name, for instance, but you can use it to
indicate that you implement the Kerberos protocol, for instance.  This
is also noted in the README file.

Note that I'm not speaking officially for MIT with regards to
intellectual property; if you really care, ask a real lawyer.
