Anyone know why exactly I'm getting this problem? In short, I have a KDC set up on Linux 2.4.7, and I've configured a client's /bin/login to hit the KDC for authentication via pam_krb5.so.
Users can log in just fine, but they can't seem to change their password via kpasswd. It goes something like this: [ kelledin@Traveller ~ ] # kpasswd Password for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Enter new password: Enter it again: Authentication error: Failed reading application request The client is running Linux 2.4.17. Both client and KDC are running krb5 v1.2.3. The server's logs record issuing a ticket for kadmin/changepw and that's it. Does anyone have a clue as to what's happening? ---------- Kelledin "If a server crashes in a server farm and no one hears it, does it still cost four figures to fix?" _______________________________________________ Kerberos mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/kerberos
