I'd probably like to move in this direction but the initial intent was
to just give the ability to read and extract database information. 
Turns out the project that I had intented to use this for has gone in
another direction but I'll continue to work on this.  I've finally got
a CPAN ID and will probably upload the latest version there sometime
next week.  Still the same basic design but some bugs fixed and some
new functionality.
