Hi,

KLP for Windows requires a source code license for Windows NT and Windows
2000 from Microsoft. It is derived from some of their code. Hence, it is not
generally available outside of MIT.

We are working on a port of LPNG to Windows which includes Kerberos support,
and will include a print spooler so that user can print to the ports from
within GUI applications. We are not making any committments to timeline for
completing this work, at this time.

Paul

Subject: The Kerberized Line Printer

I would like to start exploring printing services with Kerberos support.
KLP is not available from the international crypto download site. Since
Kerberos for Windows is available, is there any reason for not making
KLP downloadable outside MIT?

Thanks,
Manuel Severiano
