If I happen to notice files in /tmp on some of our hosts with names like ovsec_adm.XXXXXX , is that indicative of some software calling into the deprecated API? I haven't been able to identify anything else that's generating them (^ov makes me think of HP's OpenView, yuck, but that's not installed on any of the boxes that have these files).
