The Kermit Project at Columbia University applied for and received permission to export a full installation of Kerberos for Windows as part of the Kermit 95 project. The Export Control Classification Number is 5D002. During the Kermit 95 installation users are given the option to install Kerberos for Windows including Leash32 and place an appropriate icon on the desktop. Kermit 95 version 2.1 will be shipping in the next two weeks. It will include an updated Kerberos distribution KfW 2.2 plus Kerberos 5 1.2.6.
