I don't know whether you are interested, but our TrustBroker product uses MS password 
change/set protocol by default, so from a UNIX/Linux system you can use 'kpasswd' to 
change password for an account on Active Directory.

Don't think there is one for MIT.  Writing it wouldn't be that hard, we just haven't 
done it.
