Hi all, I have another question, this time concerning telnet: when I try to telnet on my machine (the same where the telnet servers and kerberos is installed) I got this error: >[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/krb5-1.3.4/bin$ ./telnet -a proxy.carretti.it >Trying 155.185.54.187... >Connected to proxy.carretti.it (155.185.54.187). >Escape character is '^]'. >[ Kerberos V5 refuses authentication because telnetd: krb5_rd_req failed: >Hostname cannot be canonicalized ] >[ Kerberos V5 refuses authentication because telnetd: krb5_rd_req failed: >Hostname cannot be canonicalized ] >telnetd: Authorization failed. >Connection closed by foreign host My /etc/hosts file is : >127.0.0.1 localhost > >155.185.54.187 proxy.carretti.it proxy.carretti.it In the database I have a correct principal ( host/proxy.carretti.it) and the key in the keytab file is set. Any ideas??? THanks in advance!!! Enrico
