It would help us to diagnose your problem if you were to include the exact command line which you provided to the configure script, as well as details of your OS type and version.
I used :
./configure --enable-dns-for-realm --enable-shared --enable-athena --enable-ipv6 --enable-kdc-replay-cache --enable-fakeka --with-krb4 --with-system-et --with-system-ss --with-system-db --with-hesiod --with-tcl --with-vague-errors --with-kdc-kdb-update
My OS is GNU/Linux LFS with kernel 2.6 and gcc 3.4
