Hi

I saw a query listed on the mit.edu site regarding a problem trying to access
multiple forests using a linux client using Kerberos authentication.

You said that you had managed to get it working in a single 2000 AD forest.
Does that forest have child domains? I ask because that is what I'm trying to
do within a single forest - use a Linux client to authenticate against a child
domain DC that has a shortcut trust to another child domain which holds
resources that I'm trying to access.

Could you tell me how you managed to get it working?

We've managed to get it to successfully authenticate if you configure the linux
client to use a DC in the same domain as the username, but not if you use a
username in a trusted alternate domain

Hope this makes sense and I hope you can help

Thanks

Justin
