that just means the client has brutally ended its side of the socket. The server then sends a NoticeOfDisconnect back to the client, which might be received, as a socket is a 2 ways communication (ie the client might shut down the client -> server channel, but not the server -> client). -- Emmanuel Lecharny Symas.com directory.apache.org
