scanning a boot time works also, but when a SATA device is detected,

NOTE: after a second look, it seems that i didn't actually remove any

the series file in that directory... please tell me that this doesn't
mean that all patches in that directory are applied.... ?
If you _only_ changed the textfile, every patch is applied, so if the
recompiled kernel work for you, it's a weird problem...
