Title:
Focal update: v5.4.158 upstream stable release
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in linux source package in Focal:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
SRU Justification
Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly from a mainline/stable Linux tree or
a minimally backported form of that patch. The following upstream
stable patches should be included in the Ubuntu kernel:
v5.4.158 upstream stable release
from git://git.kernel.org/
scsi: core: Put LLD module refcnt after SCSI device is released
vrf: Revert "Reset skb conntrack connection..."
net: ethernet: microchip: lan743x: Fix skb allocation failure
media: firewire: firedtv-avc: fix a buffer overflow in avc_ca_pmt()
Revert "xhci: Set HCD flag to defer primary roothub registration"
Revert "usb: core: hcd: Add support for deferring roothub registration"
sfc: Fix reading non-legacy supported link modes
ARM: 9120/1: Revert "amba: make use of -1 IRQs warn"
Linux 5.4.158
UBUNTU: upstream stable to v5.4.158
