intel_idle.max_cstate=2 are added)
Status in linux-signed-hwe-6.2 package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Ubuntu 22.04.2 with kernel 6.2.0-25-generic @ 21/7/2023
After recent updates to kernel 6.2.0-25-generic my intel flickering
has returned
with the same symptons as in previous bug(s) on ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1958191
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe/+bug/1838644
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1948778
Ubuntu loads to desktop and after a few seconds the flickering starts
to unusable glitches
This bug dissapears when adding the kernel parameter: i915.enable_dc=0
intel_idle.max_cstate=2
On Ubuntu 22.04 the bug was fixed since kernel 5.17.7-051707-generic
#202205121146 (mainline)
and kernel 5.19.0-28-generic
