Title:
[Dell Inc. Inspiron 1010] suspend/resume failure

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
When pressing the power button/opening the lid after suspend the
system isn´t able to resume. The screen (and also the backlights)
doesn´t turn on, but my Bleutooth adapter blinks and is turned on and
I can hear my harddisk spinning. The only way to get to the desktop is
holding down the power button for a force quit and restart. I also get
  this issue on 12.10.
