Hi,

watching: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1039514

the command

sudo ethtool -s eth0 speed 10 duplex full autoneg off

made it connect at 10Mbps speed, but the router is not the problem, as
other linuxes are connecting at 100Mbps speed.

Any clues?

Title:
e1000e ethernet not working on raring 13.04 (nor in precise 12.04)

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
After an upgrade in precise, the ethernet connection started failing.

My desktop is a Dell Inspiron 530s with e1000e 82562V-2 Ethernet
  interface.

The problem is that it seems to connect and receive the dhcp but the
  ethernet fails all the time.

  I tried with kernels:
  3.10.3-031003-generic
  3.8.0-19-generic
  3.8.0-21-generic (from
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1152194 --
http://people.canonical.com/~henrix/e1000e-pm-bug/)

  None of them worked.

Also I tried with the driver from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/e1000/files/e1000e%20stable/2.4.14/ and neither
it worked.
