Bug description:
Some times my system dies with lines on the screen just after I close the
screen.I don't know the reason but it happens once in 5-7 lid closing tasks.I
just upgraded to 12.10 with some hopes of stability but even now it dies and I
usually get crash report saying suspend/resume failure. Also my audio device is
consuming 1W power even it is idle where as fglrx consumes only 50-100mW .
Please tell me how can I optimize the power consumption of my audio device
(like keeping it off when ever not needed etc)
