This problem is severe enough to completely kill WiFi connections on heavily-loaded networks. The xorg-edgers bug reporting guidelines are very unclear, at least about kernel-related problems. I apologize if this is the wrong place. Does anyone know if this bug has been solved in the stock Ubuntu kernel, and whether the xorg-edgers kernel for precise (or any Ubuntu kernel) has absorbed the fix? I've tried fiddling with a lot of iwlwifi modprobe options, and none reduce or eliminate the problem.
