I did not go the email route as I did not know that they do not use the
bug tracker. I guess whats the point of it if they don't check it. Where
I work, we make use of our bug tracker as its intended. They should also
remove that option from that previous link you posted if its not used.
At the rate this is going, it probably would have been easier to just
taken the time to fix the bug and submit a patch to fix it.

I guess at this point, would you still like an email sent to the list? I
assume L:      linux-in...@vger.kernel.org  and that list is
rediculously long to have to search through just to submit a bug.
