Testing with Linux 3.11.0-1-generic (really v3.11-rc5-saucy) I get a
massive failure of hardware support.

USB keyboard and USB mouse keyboard are not detected. No ethernet
wireless or cable devices detected. I even have to launch "onboard"
application (assistive keyboard on screen) for try to fill this bug.

I test too with 3.8.0-13 generic that it doesn't have this massive
failure harware support, and I still get the same errors in dmesg.

I attach the dmesg for 3.11 that I think that contains traces for fix
the problems. For example this BIOS bug message:

Title:
  hid-generic 0003:046D:C315.001E: can't reset device, status -71

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I don't know if it is the right package for report but anyways.

I have a keyboard and mouse connected to a base plattaform for laptops
with a fan and a usb hub (4 spaces) (it helps to avoid hot restarts by
heat on summer and get more usb spaces for plug gadgets).
