touchpad doesn't work after suspend

Ubuntu mate 15.04
On my Acer v3-371 laptop the touchpad doesnt work after suspend.
I have tried googling for solutions. And tried various fixes from the
following links:

But so far nothing has helped. I have checked lsmod, xinput, lsusb
before and after suspend but nothing obvious seems wrong (im a noob
though so might not be right..)
