Does anyone know how to do the bisecting? The instructions at the above link that christopher provided are helping, but not a complete walkthrough. I'm trying my best to muddle along. I have successfully cloned the ubuntu-wily kernel repo and i've successfully started the git bisect process. It has picked 38eb1dbb0d7d190bdfe2ea824e94dab19e32737f as the first git bisect commit i need to compile and test. But i'm not sure how to properly compile this commit into a kernel in order to test it. The instructions on the ubuntu wiki for normal building kernels from source do not work. I'm trying to use the kteam-tools. It keeps saying that is an invalid commit. I'm probably just missing something simple, but if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

The only way is to do a hard shutdown. I'm usually in a browser when this happens, and often watching a video or two. It seems to happen more often in Google Chrome than Firefox, but it happens with both. It has happened at least once with no videos loaded. I haven’t observed it freeze / hang when I’m not in a browser, but that's mainly what i use my laptop for, so that's where most of my time is spent.
