Title:
NVME crashes Ubuntu 16.04
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Description: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release: 16.04
On a brand new Supermicro Chassis (SuperServer 1028R-WTNRT) we have
installed Ubuntu 16.04 onto a pair of SAMSUNG SM863 SSDs in soft Raid
1. We originally tried to install Ubuntu 16.04 to two NVMe drives
(IntelĀ® SSD DC P3700) but the Ubuntu install could not see both
drives, Only one. Howerver Ubuntu Server 14.04 saw them and worked
perfectly. After the install to the SSDs I plugged in the two NVMe
drives and the server has had nothing but issues since.
I attached the dmesg errors.
The errors seen in the dmesg file attached just continue to repeat
over and over again. The server locks up and no longer responds.
Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated.
