Focaltech Touchpad not found in devices Asus FX550

Bug description:
Have been using USB mouse for a few days on my machine. When I was on the
move switched to my touchpad just to find out it was not working. Checked in
/proc/bus/input/devices but could not find the focaltech touchpad device that
was usually there. (It has been working fine for about 6 months up until now).
I have attached some logs that should help let me know what else you need.
