Iirc, what I wanted to do was to assign specific fan ip addresses to lxd containers based on container name.
i.e. by setting dhcp-host=container,ip_addr What I did in the end was just that. Disabled dhcp and setup my own instance of dnsmasq. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-fan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483991 Title: ubuntu-fan hard coded dhcp options Status in ubuntu-fan package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Good morning, On Ubuntu 15.04 ubuntufan: 0.3.0~15.04.1 Been experimenting with lxd and ubuntu-fan. Seems like a match made in heaven, and thank you for creating these. However please instead of using hard-coded dhcp options for dnsmasq, instead give us an option to set/use a dnsmasq config file. Use case: Replace usage of lxcbr0 with fan-xxx-xxx-xxx for use with lxd.
