Title:
cpuidle in linux-image-2.6.35-19-generic crashes kernel on boot

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
linux-image-2.6.35-19-generic fails to boot on my Lenovo Ideapad S10-3
(Intel Atom N450). linux-image-2.6.35-17-generic boots fine.

While trying out 2.6.36-rc3 from kernel.org, I noticed the same
problem. After just disabling cpuidle support in this kernel, it boots
up fine. I noticed that the most obvious difference between -17 and
  -19 is the cpuidle driver.

Maybe blacklisting the Atom N450 or the N10 chipset in the cpuidle driver
might help for maverick.
