Just to make you aware, there will be patch(es) coming ~WW40 or later to fix the current upstream ixgbe and ixgbevf drivers to work with B0 silicon. We are hoping to get these into the 4.8 kernel before the kernel release, but may have to go through the stable-kernel tree if the fixes do not make the 4.8 kernel release.
All potential patch(es) will be available on patchworks: http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/intel-wired-lan/list/ if they are not already there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1591821 Title: [Feature] intel_idle for Denverton Status in intel: New Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in linux source package in Xenial: In Progress Status in linux source package in Yakkety: Fix Released Bug description: This is intended to track intel_idle enabling for Denverton HW: Harrisonvile Upstream schedule: Kernel: 4.8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/intel/+bug/1591821/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
