Bug description:
Wireless-regdb is outdated in trusty. Some countries do not have 5 GHz
frequencies at all in the old package.
That causes some problems with connection or instability with 5 GHz.
For Russia iw reg get shows
country RU:
(2402 - 2482 @ 40), (N/A, 20)
(5735 - 5835 @ 20), (N/A, 30)
Installation of a newer regdb package fixes it.
With the new package taken from xenial it shows
country RU:
(2402 - 2482 @ 40), (N/A, 20)
(5170 - 5250 @ 40), (N/A, 20)
(5250 - 5330 @ 40), (N/A, 20), DFS
(5650 - 5730 @ 40), (N/A, 30), DFS
(5735 - 5835 @ 40), (N/A, 30)
(57000 - 66000 @ 2160), (N/A, 40)
and there is no problem.
This restriction is better than the previous, but the correct
regulation for Russia is:
