  Repeated (spurious?) pcieport errors in logs (PCIe Bus Error)

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 16.04 LTS ASUS R558U.

  Similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/671979

  I find repeated error/Logs in all virtual consoles, because of which I
  can't work in the virtual consoles. I am not using nvidia proprietary
  drivers.
