Title:
  IOMMU Broken on 3.8 kernels?

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I've got an Asrock A75Pro4-M, after enabling IOMMU from BIOS running with
kernel 3.2.0-29-generic dmesg reported iommu correctly working:
  [ 0.518415] AMD-Vi: Enabling IOMMU at 0000:00:00.2 cap 0x40 extended
features: PreF PPR GT IA
  [ 0.518479] AMD-Vi: Initialized for Passthrough Mode

  Now with kernel 3.8.0-27 :
"AMD IOMMUv2 functionality not available on this system"

No more lines referring to IOMMU v1, is that a common behaviour?

  Thanks

P.S. "ubuntu-bug linux" states that my current image file does not
comes from an offical package (not true)
