  Black screen after boot up

Bug description:
  Two days ago I upgraded the OS version to 16.10.Suddenly I got black
  screen after I start up the Laptop(HP Probook 4530S).

  There was only a text file in Desktop and only that file was visible and was 
able to open it.
  The rest was black and unable to take any actions.I was not using new unity 
and using the default Ubuntu GUI.

  I am only using Ubuntu 16.10 as my OS.

  After shutting down using power button and restart the OS.After that
  everything became normal.No issues after that at all.
