Title:
crash due to kernel NULL pointer around uio

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Hi,
the system continued just fine after this crash happened on my Yakkety Test
system.
In fact I found that accidentally when running dmesg for something else.

For now I primarily wanted to collect data before loosing it due to a
  reboot.

I ran the same workload multiple times before without that anywhere in the
log before.
I checked what else happened at the time and it seems that this was caused by
an DPDK enabled openvswitch that I stopped in the cleanup for the next test.

That process before was interrupted being only half setup due to an issue in
my setup script.
But I had cases like this a lot and never hit the issue.

So for now if nothing obvious to you is found please consider this
just a data store to find it again if more similar cases show up.

Since there was no crash, full stop or anything I couldn't provide any
dump data (at least I know now way that would still help)
