Bug description:
  I can reproduce this bug on 4 different machines, all runing updated Quantal 
versions.
  Might be related to BUG#1042213 .
  This Bug does not appear when using nfs3 monted homes, only with nfs4 mounted 
homes.
  A 3.6.2 mainline kernel also hasn't exhibited this behavior so far.
