Similar problem here. Intel NUC 6i5SYK; SanDisk UltraFit 16GB USB 3.0 When booting in UEFI mode from the USB, and checking the contents from grub it complains about problems in 17 files.
Checking the md5 checksums (in another Windows machine) all the files in the USB have the correct checksum, as per md5sum.txt.
