Title:
Broadcom 4352 not installing module for Kernel 4.8.0-30
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When installing Kernel 4.8.0-30, over existing Kernel 4.4.0-51 with a
Broadcom 4352 wireless device, the kernel install fails to install the
kernel module, resulting in wireless connectivity being inoperative.
lscpi-vnvn.log attached. Version log is not the kernel in question.
Linux Mint 18 Sarah RELEASE 18
Expected the WL driver module to be installed for the 4.8.0-30 kernel
and for wireless networking to function as a result. Actual result,
error in install, prevents kernel module from installing correctly and
precludes wireless networking functionality.
