with NetGear900 to Novatel Mifi

Installed the following packages:
linux-headers-3.13.0-73 (3.13.0-73.116)
linux-headers-3.13.0-73-generic (3.13.0-73.116)
linux-image-3.13.0-73-generic (3.13.0-73.116)
linux-image-extra-3.13.0-73-generic (3.13.0-73.116)
Caused some form of loop or failure to complete which did not recognize or
fully complete connection.
Temporary fix was to drop back to Linux kernel 3.13.0.71.77 under advanced
in Grub
Same issue for both Ubuntu Trusty 14.04.3LTS and Linux Mint17.
Expectation was for the connect to complete
