How long does it take for you to reproduce this issue? I ran the same
test on AMD64 for over 12hrs and was not able to reproduce the failure.
The 17.04 kernel I have is 4.9.0-15-generic #16-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 20.

  Executed ./ltpstress.sh from ltp testsuite on Bare metal and suddenly system 
hangs up for few minutes. I see call traces in dmesg as genload : page

  Hi Canonical,
  This bug appears to be similar to https://lkml.org/lkml/2017/1/11/189  and 
does not appear to be Power arch specific.
