I filled my password, enter into my account and then froze, I could not do anything neither the keyboard nor the mouse, was totally frozen. I waited a few minutes, there was no change and then I tried enforced restart by Alt + Print Screen + B. Very rarely I have exactly this problem, but I never knew exactly what you might needed as log files and information, so I proceed further to the next time. This time I decided to cooperate. I don't know what exactly should I provide, except /var/log/kern.log , so I attached it. Here is a note: I looked at this log file and would like to point that everything started right here: Nov 23 18:09:28 PC kernel: [43931.580063] PM: Syncing filesystems ... done. It seems I started my PC at 18:09:28 . I'll be glad if you helped to discover where the problem comes from. My distribution is Ubuntu MATE 16.10, up-to-date.
