Public bug reported: The kernel source for Ubuntu-Zesty (17.04) has picked up almost all the aacraid driver patches that add support to Microsemi's new RAID/HBA product and a bunch of bug fixes.
https://www.microsemi.com/products/storage/host-bus-adapters/hba1000 There are still 3 remaining patches which are bug fixes , I would request Ubuntu to pick them up.
